Why does my car need ceramic coating?

Whether you know it or not, your car is under constant attack.  From road debris to UV rays, pollen to rain, dirt to oxidization – your vehicle is perpetually being damaged, even when it is just parked in your driveway or going through the automated car wash.

Ceramic Coating for your car protects your investment and keeps your car looking positively brilliant everywhere you go.  With Ceramic Coating, your car will look as incredible as it did the day you drove it off the car dealer lot – or in many cases, even better.

What is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic Coating is a liquid polymer designed to bond with your car’s clear coat and offer protection for your paint against a variety of environmental factors such as rain, dirt, UV rays, and various debris. Ceramic Coating creates a hydrophobic layer on your car, helping it repel water, prevent moisture, and ensure that unwanted materials are whisked away from your vehicle without damaging the surface of your car.

The Benefits of Ceramic Coating for Your Car

At Canbro Auto detailing, we provide the best Ceramic Coating services in Canberra.  Ceramic Coating helps to protect your car from a wide variety of environmental and circumstantial impacts – from everyday dirt, debris, mud, bird droppings, UV rays, or tree sap, to more specific factors like brake dust, scratches from your kids, dents from parking lots, and more.

Protection from UV Rays and Oxidization

Never worry about dull, faded paint again.  Ceramic Coating protects your car from ultraviolet rays – maximizing the lifetime of your paint and drastically minimizing oxidation to your vehicle.

Improved Durability and Strength

Ceramic Coating helps to protect your car from dents, scratches, and environmental factors that damage your paint.

Repels Mud, Dirt, and Water

Ceramic Coating is hydrophobic – meaning it repels water entirely.  By causing water to bead up, Ceramic Coating whisks away unwanted dirt, debris, mud, and moisture.

3 Year Guarantee

C1 is extremely easy to apply and ideal  for someone new to applying ceramic coatings, or for someone who wants a coating that is durable, but not too much hassle to apply.

With good gloss retention, C1 Crystal Lacquer becomes the functional surface of the cars paintwork, and if applied by a Gtechniq Accredited Detailer comes with a 3 year guarantee.

C1 forms a crystalline film which is hard – this characteristic makes it effective at preventing minor scratching from poor wash technique on relatively soft automotive paint.

The coating is good for gloss retention, but because it does not add much additional gloss it is ideal for matte paint finishes.
